This is what I have so far. Let me know what you think of it!
This is a story about a few friends. A few friends, who like you and me (depending on what species is reading this), are Pokémon. This story is mine and my friend, Chaos’, in which we have adventures. There is no real plotline, just our many adventures. We start out panning inwards through a cave formation in the Johto region, and the formation somewhat represents like a window. We pan inwards more to see a giant flat-screen television, a couch for four in front of it, and to its left is a kitchen. In that is a refrigerator, a sink… Basically it’s your everyday house for the middle-upper class.
Suddenly, there are footsteps on the stairs to the upper levels. The thumps grow louder, and louder, until the feet of a giant purple cat are seen. We pan up, hearing it growl low and loudly, until we see its face. It is only yawning loudly. This, my friends, is me. My name is Pixel; Pixel the Mewtwo. I was created in a laboratory far off in the Kanto region; but you all know that story. Yes, this story, in fact, takes place after I made Giovanni forget about me and ruling over me. I have found some more friends on the way throughout my lifetime since then, but they all come in later.
I slowly walk down the steps. I normally wouldn’t, but I was too tired to use my psychic abilities at the time. I walk into the kitchen, open the fridge, and take out a Mtn. Dew Voltage. Gotta love that berry stuff… Anyway, I walk over to the TV, grab the remote, and switch it on. Some humans and some odd creatures that came from a place known as the ‘Digital World’ are on screen fighting off some kind of a monster in the internet.
“Man, I know that this is a rip-off of something… I can’t remember what though…” I say to myself; half-asleep. That’s when I hear something from the kitchen. “What?! Who’s there!? I have abilities and I know how to use them!” I yell while charging up a Shadow Ball attack. The fridge is wide open and the silhouette of whoever it is can easily be seen. I prepare to toss the ball of shadowy energy, when the fridge shuts. Whoever it is seems quite calm.
I throw the ball and the silhouette just deflects it with a single blue paw. The paw glowed blue slightly when my attack was deflected. That’s when I realize who it is.
“Oh man, sorry about that Chaos. You startled me. I warned you about sneaking around the house in the early hours!” I say to the now walking towards me silhouette. The figure walks into the light of the TV and can easily be seen now. It is just a normal Lucario, but it deflected one of my most powerful attacks with just one paw. In his other paw, and arm, was a bucket of leftover KFC chicken from last Saturday.
“Hey Pixel. Good morning.” He says while eating a leg from the bucket. At that same moment, something orange and about the size of a DS game card comes zooming through and between us from the wall.
“GOODMORNINGGOODMORNINGEVERYBODYHIMEWTWOWHATCHAWATCHINGISTHATDIGIMONTHATISSUCHARIPOFFOFPOKEMONANDBOYAMIWIREDBECAUSEIJUSTFINISHEDAWHOLEBATTERYANDLALALALALALALALALALALA!” says the little ghost Pokémon. It’s a Rotom. It’s sort of like the pet of the Lucario Chaos. Chaos grows a little angry and a vein appears on his forehead. Using a single hand he catches the zipping and sagging ghost with a single ninja-like movement.
“What did I say about those D-cell batteries before breakfast?”
The Rotom grows nervous. “WELLYOUSEEIONLYHADITBECAUSETHATWASMYBREAKFASTANDHOWABOUTTHISYOUSUCKER!?” It breaks free of Chaos’ strong grip and zips back into the wall from whence it came. “YOU’LLNEVERTAKEMEALIVEESPECIALLYSINCEIAMAGHOSTTYPEPOKEMONSOIAMALREADYDEADINAWAYSOHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!”
Chaos begins to go upstairs after the little damn devil, when I stop him with a wall of energy. “Leave him be. He only needs to get rid of that energy. That zipping around should get that D-cell power down to about a single AA battery. Just let him be. For now that is.”
Chaos reluctantly nods. “Fine. But next time he pulls that he is so-“
“Morning everyone!”
Chaos and I turn around towards the stairs to see my second roommate just waking up and walking downstairs. It is Feeler; an Absol. He is quite friendly, a little shy, but quite a reliable friend to a fault.
“Good morning dude!” I reply to him. He yawns in a slow response. He obviously just recently woke up. “So, what did I miss? I heard some raised voices…”
At that moment Netman the Rotom zips passed Feeler and goes through the fridge and right on through the wall to the next room. Feeler nods. “Now I get it.” He then proceeds to pounce and land on the couch on the opposite end from where I was sitting. He grabs the remote with one paw and changes the channel. I would have told him to change it back if it were not for the breaking news bulletin. More and more people and Pokémon are jobless. The bulletin shows a graph with a drastic incline and shows that the amount of jobs are getting fewer and the amount of people and Pokémon with jobs is getting lower. This reminds me that I needed to find me a job so we can afford food for the next week.
Chaos apparently sees me thinking this and reads it in my expression, because he tells me about some job openings in Goldenrod City. “So if we all go, then maybe we all can get a job!” Feeler stares at Chaos. “Won’t we be recognized as Pokémon right away though? Those jobs in particular aren’t all for Pokémon you know…”
Chaos chuckles. “I know. But, I know a few where we may be able to pass as humans. Me and Pixel may be able to get a job, but you’ll have to keep on looking. Is that acceptable?”
Feeler sulks back into the couch with a humph. “Pfft. Fine. But I’m going with you.”
Chaos sighs and nods. “Alright. Just don’t try to draw attention to yourself.” He says as he grabs a trench coat. I use my powers to create my disguise. I look like any ordinary Pokémon trainer. After a few odd looks from my friends, we head out for Goldenrod City.
After we arrive at Goldenrod city, Chaos leads the way to a large building. It is a branch of Silph Co.
As we enter the building, Feeler, without any disguise, whispers to Chaos “So, which floor are they on?”
Chaos whispers back “I was told they were on the third floor.” But as he whispers this, his trench coat got caught on a shelf they passed by, and a nearby attendant saw the talking Lucario. She screams “A talking Pokémon! Run for your life!” as she runs down the hallway. Chaos quickly pulls his trench coat back on and people stare as we walk by. We managed to only be spotted by that one person.
